Nobody knows better what the novel by Terry Pratchett, but a lot of his fans, including myself, would be a candidate name. In this novel, he takes his manic wordplay, puns and double and triple word play at the highest level.
Soul Music has three narrative strands: Death Takes a Holiday (fans will remember _Mort_ Pratchett), orphaned daughter Death, Susan Sto Helit, and their attempts to cope with the family legacy, and the discovery of rock and Roll on the disc. The three stories together, and the result for me was going from laughter to snickers.
The great news is that Rock and Roll comes to the plate by means of a guitar and a pawnbroker skilled harpist, whose name means “Bud of Holly”, who looks like Elvis [ h]. With a horn player and a dwarf named Glod trollish drummer Cliff, the music of rock band called the Discworld stormed. The Librarian, the monk. . . Orang-utan, the wizard runs added, is sitting at the keyboard, and exceeds even the excesses of Jerry Lee Lewis. You can not imagine a rock Pterry problem that is not reached. Women fans pitch articles of clothing, espresso shops appear; Rock promoters – CMOT snapper, of course, happen – the assistants calm leather clothing, doing their best, James Dean and show they are “Born to Rune. parts < p> the book are an imitation of the “Blues Brothers” (“We’re on a mission from Glod”), “spine” and “Tap Woodstock. Other parts are easy to Pratchett own mad invention. And this book also offers the best Pterry pun – “some criminal monk, perhaps the best pun in literature since Niven and Gerrold _The Flying Sorcerors_. They spend a lot of time just to write puns. And let me note that Led Zeppelin “Stairway to Heaven” gets the treatment it rightly deserves.
But while Buddy and his tour with their roadie Asphalt and inescapably band to Dead Man’s Curve, and then that Death does his best to learn to forget with the help of the Foreign Legion Klatchian and alcohol, Susan makes increasingly desperate efforts to keep what passes for reality on the Discworld is completely detached. With the support of the death of rats, Albert and other favorites, the disc is recorded, but not without some unusual sharpness.
There are scientific papers, whether written or parody Pratchett satire. However labeled, this was the high water mark for his experiments with pure form. Anglo-American literature has never been a brilliant satirist / parodist of Terry Pratchett. He may have written better books Discworld, but I’m not sure he wrote a book funny. Especially if you know how and rock music.

Soul Music consists of two parallel plot, which, like the world this disc and not the earth, converge as they reach the horizon of history. Here we are again. Death, the guy that skeletal muscle contributes around goes black dress, a false door, a pale white horse (named Binky), and speaks like this has, once again, the work became tired and went to try things through membership to forget. . . order. . . Terry Pratchett is probably one of the most talented writers in the world of literary grace. His Discworld novel, “Soul Music” is the most entertaining book I read many years. This is the story of Susan Sto Helit boarding student, the granddaughter of death and CEO of the company acting family. When death joins the Foreign Legion to forget Klatchian (in general), Susan has to take the false and fill some time. Not particularly well suited for the job, Susan refuses to be the life of the Imp Celyn Y, a young man who put up with a dwarf, a trumpeter and percussionist Troll, music with rocks for good people Ankh-Morpork, to collect. IMP has been influenced by a magic guitar with a life of its own, and gave birth to “Rock” music. Susan feels it is unfair for Imp live fast and die young “, and that upsets the balance of nature on the Discworld. Assisted by Albert, Death’s servant, and to find death board Susansets-Out, his grandfather and trying to rectify the situation. Music with rocks in every way, society as Ankh-Morpork excited, how rock and roll in America in the 1950s. assistants ‘Unseen University are in love is like nothing anyone has ever seen. Personally, I’m not a big fan of fantasy full / sci-fi genre, but the novels of Discworld Pratchett are more likely to reach new heights… Fun at several levels. His works leave the reader with a pleasant feeling of fullness to the approach that few authors can. You never want to see things differently than the vision Pratchett Like so many other novels of today. This wonderful book is to read to understand the beauty of it is the complex fluid and the touches of humor are great. I would recommend Terry Pratchett “Discworld” series, not one, they are a pleasure to read and ended much too soon.

Who could but find Terry Pratchett sympathy for the feelings of the death of Discworld? And win? Once again, Pratchett offers readers a rich feast of deep philosophical issues, served with its cheeky spirit. As usual, the meal can be taken lightly, skimming eccentric characters – The raven is the best mark in this book – or the terrible puns from the music [Welsh for Buddy Holly? arghh!]. Otherwise, the fan Gourmet PTerry enjoy topics about life. And death. Pratchett, as always, can be read at several levels. Any Discworld book can be read on several occasions, and this is no exception.
death is unique among the Four Horsemen – it is the only one that is inevitable. As an anthropomorphic personification of death is something other than just a blind force. Quick search feelings through his consciousness. Without a framework of rights, he can not fully understand. However, he is aware that things are not quite right. It assumes, therefore, to determine what is wrong. His departure leaves a void filling demanding.

She is human, with a keen sense of justice, angered by the loss of good people and the survival of the poor. She wants to be the death “fair”, but it can not be what it is – inevitable. Pratchett, of course, must somehow reconcile these views, which he used to be a sovereign manner. During this time, the music strives for survival.
